How many hours can I work a week?
The average most students will work is 4-6 hours per week during the academic year. You may not work over 15 hours a week or your total award amount. If you are unsure of your award amount or if you have been awarded a Federal Work-Study award, you may log into your financial aid account on NetPartners. You may view the award/hours reference chart directly below to determine the aprroximate number of hours you may work per week to earn your entire award.Example: If you are awarded a $1200 Federal Work-Study for the academic year, then you may work apporximately 5.5 hours a week to earn your entire award.
